reSET is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing the social entrepreneurship sector in the Greater Hartford region. As part of its efforts to support entrepreneurs, the organization created LaunchPad for Impact, an accelerator program geared toward entrepreneurs in the pilot stages of business development.
ENTREPRENEURIAL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
The four-month business model development program provides entrepreneurs with tools, resources, guidance and support including access to expert mentors, advisors, service providers and priority funding sources.
“Through LaunchPad for Impact, we guide program attendees through 100 customer discovery interviews to help them thoroughly test their business assumptions,” reSET Director of Programs Rosie Gallant explained.
“The program uses customer feedback, expert guidance and a peer network to help an entrepreneur’s concept become an adaptable business model,” she added.
The LaunchPad for Impact accelerator program gives entrepreneurs an opportunity to pitch at Flight Night and priority place spot in Level 2 of the reSET Impact Challenge.
reSET Social Enterprise Trust is a nonprofit organization that supports Hartford area entrepreneurs by providing co-working space and accelerator and mentoring programs. The organization is working to advance the social enterprise sector by inspiring innovation and community collaboration with the strategic goals of being the “go-to” place for impact entrepreneurs, making Hartford the impact city and making Connecticut the social enterprise state.
