Camp Girl Boss is a national leadership and entrepreneurship program that empowers middle school girls to discover how to use their ideas to change the world. In 2020, up to 500 girls ages 10 to 13 will be accepted to the program on behalf of each state to participate in a virtual camp experience and innovation journey. Teams of five local girl bosses are matched with one woman mentor to address a single national challenge. Teams will compete to win the “best in state” award, selected by a panel of 10 state judges, with the 50 winners contending for the $10,000 top prize. Winners will be announced on November 21, at the culmination of the Virtual Conference and Business Plan Competition, which takes place November 19 to 21, 2020.

Members of Connecticut’s entrepreneurial ecosystem can help inspire the next generation of female changemakers in Danbury, Hartford, Groton, and New Haven by supporting teams of middle school girl bosses in the seven-week virtual entrepreneurship program and national business plan competition.

Camp Girl Boss is seeking women mentors, non-profit partners, and regional sponsors to enable 125 local girls to discover the power of their innovative ideas. Find out how to serve as a judge, a mentor, a sponsor, or presenting partner.

The deadline to register is September 1.
