CTNext Launches Mentoring Network Powered By The Refinery
CTNext, a wholly owned subsidiary of Connecticut Innovations, announced the launch of a new mentoring network for Connecticut’s most promising early-stage companies. Companies that are selected to participate will have access to critical mentorship to help accelerate their growth.
Companies that apply must have:
- a product or digital service already launched or in test;
- a significant value proposition;
- a large market opportunity; and
- a strong management team.
“This program is designed to match growing early-stage companies in the community with the experienced talent of a mentor,” said Glendowlyn Thames, executive director of CTNext.
“We know that we have many successful companies in the state that will be eligible for this program. Our intention is to accelerate the success of those companies that are at an inflection point for growth,” she added.
The program is currently recruiting successful entrepreneurs, executives, and/or investors who would like to give back and participate in Connecticut’s economic growth. For more information on the program and how to become a mentor, visit here.
The Refinery designs and builds programs to improve the diversity, sustainability and success of startups.
“We have learned that key mentoring can make the difference in a company’s growth acceleration. Great mentors provide feedback, guidance, connections and access to resources not always available to the entrepreneur,” said Janis Collins, cofounder of The Refinery.
