reSET, a non-profit organization committed to advancing Greater Hartford’s social entrepreneurship sector, has accepted 22 businesses into its 2016 accelerator program. The program is designed for entrepreneurs in the beginning stages of business development.
The businesses span from Connecticut to California. Most of their business models are impact-focused, serving the educational technology, health and health tech, energy, and agriculture industries. More than 60% of the businesses are already generating revenue.
A $25,000 accelerator funding pool will be available to the cohort at the end of the accelerator program. The startups will also have priority access to reSET’s investment fund via mentors and advisors who can help them put their best foot forward with their applications.
