The ELS Case Competition is a challenge for young local professionals to develop innovative solutions to a critical United Way business challenge.
Over the course of three weeks, teams of three to five individuals will work under the guidance of an esteemed mentor to build a winning proposal based on the case information provided.
On October 3, 2017, each team will present their proposal Shark-Tank style to a panel of judges at a United Way event hosted by the Hartford Yard Goats. The winning team will not only have their solution adopted by United Way of Central and Northeastern Connecticut, but they will also receive a VIP dinner with a very special guest.
The United Way is looking for a few more leaders to help nurture these teams as they craft winning business cases. Mentors will consult with their teams during the four-week competition to provide advice and guidance. The estimated time commitment is 5-7 hours.
Please note: Teams must be registered by Tuesday, August 29, 2017.
