Nominations for the 2020 CT Entrepreneur Awards are now open. The awards identify, recognize, and celebrate Connecticut’s leading entrepreneurs and ventures and the ecosystem elements that support them.
There will be both judged and community-favorite categories for an array of entrepreneurial endeavors. Nominations can be made through January 20, 2020.
Community online voting will begin on February 1, 2020. A national panel of expert judges will select the program’s tops winners in the Entrepreneur, Venture, and Community Builder categories. The annual honors—which recognize more than 60 entrepreneurs and ventures from all parts of Connecticut—were first awarded in 2017.
The online nomination process is simple and takes just a minute or two to complete. There is no limit as to how many nominations can be entered by an individual. Qualifying nominated award candidates will be promoted to finalist status and participate beginning in the community voting and judging categories beginning February 1.
The following categories will be open for nominations:
- Scaling (less than $1 million in revenue)
- Main Street
- Social Good
- Student (less than 25 years old)
- Community Builder
- Economic Development
