The Entrepreneurial Center – Women’s Business Center at the University of Hartford (EC-WBC) is currently accepting applications for a part-time business advisor.
Advisors work directly with small business clients to provide technical assistance, advice, and instruction in areas of expertise and general business topics, including:
- Business startup
- Business plan development
- Finances and accessing capital
- Business management
- Marketing
Requirements: Prior advising experience required. Experience in starting/running a small business and/or consulting for small businesses preferred.

About the EC-WBC
The University of Hartford’s Entrepreneurial Center and its largest initiative, the Women’s Business Center, provide business advising and training for women entrepreneurs, growth companies, aspiring entrepreneurs, and students. The Entrepreneurial Center has two locations, one at the Connecticut Center for Advanced Technology (CCAT) on Pitkin Street in East Hartford, and the second on Girard Avenue in Hartford.
