MakerspaceCT is currently accepting applications for the MakerspaceCT Innovation Cohort, a new program for career and business development that will enable 40 to 60 participants to work in the collaborative space to create, and/or improve a product.
Funded by Innovation Places/CTNext, the program will provide classes in cutting-edge technologies including 3D Printing and Scanning, RaspberryPi, Arduino, Laser Engraving, Soldering, CAD and CAM Programming, and CNC Routing and Milling.
With no cost to the participants, MakerspaceCT will provide the space, classes, and tools necessary to complete a project that will be presented at its New England Maker Summit on November 14, 2019.
Those who meet the requirements will be awarded three months of membership to MakerspaceCT. The all-access membership will enable the winning participants to continue working on their product or service beyond the program dates.
