The Construction Institute of the University of Hartford announced panels and keynote speakers for the 2018 Women Who Build Leadership and Networking Summit, which will take place Thursday, February 22, 2018, at Goodwin College.
The University of Hartford’s Entrepreneurial Center & Women’s Business Center (EC/WBC) is an Organizing Sponsor of the event.
“The Women Who Build Summit brings together accomplished women from many construction-related fields and engages participants in an honest, open, and inspiring discussion about the current state and the future of the industry,” noted Milena Erwin, Program Manager at the Women’s Business Center, University of Hartford.
“We’re excited to contribute to this premier event and bring leadership lessons and inspiration to our small business clients, as well as the younger generation of future leaders,” she added.
The 2018 Women Who Build Leadership and Networking Summit is designed for those in the architecture, engineering, construction, and owner-operated. (AECO) industry, as well as contractors, subcontractors, lawyers, accountants, and other professionals.
Melody A. Currey, Commissioner of the State of Connecticut and Dr. Anamaria Popescu, PE, PMP, PSP, Director of the Latin American Construction Practice will deliver keynote speeches.
