CTNext in collaboration with Southern Connecticut State University (SCSU) will host an intensive, two-day Small Business Innovation Research/Small Business Technology Transfer (SBIR/STTR) workshop focused on proposal development for the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the and the National Science Foundation (NSF).
Jerry Hollister, Principal Consultant for BBC Entrepreneurial Training and Consulting and a leading expert in SBIR and STTR, will lead the workshop and provide detailed instruction on how to write a competitive proposal for the NIH and NSF SBIR/STTR programs.
The workshop is designed for Connecticut-based entrepreneurs interested in SBIR/STTR funding. Through the program, selected companies will receive up to 20 hours of strategic one-on-one guidance to help them actively prepare their SBIR/STTR applications.
The event will take place at Southern Connecticut State University with registration beginning at 8:15 a.m
NIH Focus – Wednesday, October 2 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
NSF Focus – Thursday, October 3 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The workshop is free of charge; however registration is required.
