The reSET Impact Challenge is an entrepreneurial competition that awards funding and brings regional visibility to the most innovative and viable social venture startups in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont. This year, the prize purse has grown to $100,000.

To apply to the 2016 reSET Impact Challenge, startups must meet the following three criteria:
- The business must create positive social/environmental impact
- The business must be incorporated in, or hold significant operations in New England
- The business can’t have generated more than $1 million in total revenue
reSET seeks startup ventures that make a clear and compelling case for how they create positive social or environmental impact in the community. Although applicants will not be disqualified based on stage, legal structure, or lack thereof, reSET looks for businesses that have a proven and viable business models. The business plan and strategy must be clear, compelling and comprehensive, and the team must demonstrate an understanding of what’s needed to execute it successfully.
Impact Challenge applications are due June 1, 2016. Coaching sessions designed to help with the application process are also available on the following dates:
- Tuesday, April 26 at 9:00 a.m.
- Wednesday, May 11 at 12:00 p.m.
- Tuesday, May 24 at 4:00 p.m.
- Thursday, May 26 at 11:00 a.m.
